Trolls

DreamWorks Animation produced its 33rd animated featured film, a 3D computer animated musical films titled Trolls, which was based on Trolls dolls created by Thomas Dam. The movie spins around two trolls on a mission to save their community from ruining by the Bergens creatures who eat trolls. These trolls are small individuals who live in an almost uninterrupted state of happiness, singing, dancing, and hugging all day. But, they are discovered by the Bergens, large unhappy beings, who can feel happy only after eating a Troll. Once they capture a troll, the Bergens send it to prison and eat them during their special event every year called Trollstice. The trolls was led by their King called King Peppy, together with his baby daughter Princess Poppy. On the day of Trollstice, when the young Prince Gristle was about to eat his first Troll, they escaped through underground tunnels. King Gristle 1, the father of Gristle got angry and ejects his chef who is the personnel in charge for the Trollstice Preparation. After 20 years, Poppy tosses a gigantic party to celebrate the Trolls’ escape, regardless of the fears and warnings of the gray troll, Branch, that vulgar parties will attract the Bergens. During the party, Branch’s worries came true, when Chef saw the fireworks and kidnapped Guy Diamond, Biggie with Mr. Dinkles, Fuzzbert, Smidge, Satin with Chenille, D.J. Suki, Cooper, and Creek (which Poppy tried to rescue). When they were inside the Bergen king’s palace, Poppy and Branch witness Creek apparently get eaten by King Gristle II, but Poppy remains positive that Creek survived. Poppy and Branch find the rest of the caught Trolls, being protected by a scullery maid named Bridget. Poppy learns that Bridget is secretly in love with King Gristle and bargains to help her get a date with the king while trying to check if Creek is alive. While setting Bridget up for the date, Branch refuses to sing and causes a huge argument with Poppy, revealing that, his grandmother was taken and got killed while trying to save him, because of singing that made the chef knew their location. Branch’s blame himself over his grandmother’s death caused his color to turn from blue to gray.
