The hotel sits in the core of the city just 10 minutes away from downtown area and right next door to the Ayala Mall, an extensive shopping and commercial compound. Their newly reinvented Grand Ballroom, four meeting rooms and two boardrooms are picture-perfect for social events and corporate functions accepting up to 400 guests. The Cebu City Marriott Hotel – one of the best hotels in Cebu City – offers superb service and friendly staff. There are 8 Event rooms with a total space of 9,170.9 sq ft and 4,843.8 sq ft as the largest space and offers 7 different room set-ups.

Table Setup for Function Rooms

First is the Conference and Hollow Square. Suitable for collaborative conferences and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant “boardrooms” for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.

Then they also have the theater. Suitable for bulky assemblies and short orations that do not require wide-ranging note-taking. This is a suitable setup to use before breaking into conversation or role-playing clusters because chairs can be moved.

They also have the reception type. It is a Stand-up social utility where drinks and light foods are served. Foods may be offered on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May head a meal task.

The schoolroom or classroom is the most necessary setup for medium to large-size talks. Needs a relatively large room. Tables offer attendees with space for spreading out tools and taking notes.

The Banquet, Ovals and Rounds which is commonly used for meals and gatherings relating small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.

The largest function is the Sampaguita Grand ballroom which has an area of 5,642 sq.ft. and can accommodate up to 450 person depending on the table set-up. Followed by the Pre-function area that has an area of 2,013 sq.ft that can accommodate up to 320 persons. They also have the Ballroom I, Ballroom II, and Ballroom III which has the same floor area of 1,880sq.ft and can accommodate 140 persons. But if you’re looking for a smaller space, they also have their small function rooms that can accommodate 60-70 persons. They have the Adelfa and Gumamela Hall with an area of 1,066 sq.ft accommodating 70 persons. Then the Rosal hall with an area of 1,010 accommodating 60 persons.
