Time to focus on Business Expansion this 2015

After writing about new products & services for 2014, year 2013 in review last year, we are encouraged to do another write-up this year to update customers of our plans and products.

Last year – 2014 – was a blast. It was hundred times more than what we expected. Together with God’s grace, hard work & dedication, we can easily say that we are one of the most prolific and most artistic balloon shops not only in Cebu but also in the entire Philippines. We have been getting calls from all over the country for orders of our Balloon Decoration Packages & Birthday Party Packages. We also get calls from other countries mostly coming from Singapore, Australia, Dubai and USA. Cheerless to say, we can only cater to Cebu-based clients at the moment. In fact, our scope is limited because we only have one delivery van to use for the business. It is impractical to deliver balloons using our motorcycle because aside from the driver, it needs a rider that can carry the large balloon decors. One of our plans for 2015 is to get a new delivery vehicle. We do not need a bigger one just like the van that we are currently using because, most of the time, it will be used to carry our new offerings such as the Cakes, Cupcakes, Pastries and it is also useful for our Dessert Buffet Packages.

We are also planning to add more services this 2015. This includes the Food Carts, Styro Backdrops, and Ceiling Swags among others. Currently, we are looking for professional suppliers to make sure our clients are satisfied with the services they are getting. Our graphics design section, which includes the Tarpaulin, Pastry Toppers, Mugs, Ref Magnets and other personalized items, will also undergo expansion. We are seeking the help of at least two experienced Photoshop artists that can easily understand the needs of the customers.

This 2015 is going to be a great year. There will be huge surprises, discounts, freebies, etc. We are also looking at adding another professionally done website that offers a different set of packages so clients will have more options. We also hope that new (or even) existing balloons shops will try to follow our keywords to help us promote this forthcoming business easily – it is one of the reasons “Cebu Balloons” do not need advertising because competitors are doing the job for us. Almost every day we get calls from clients who think we are a different shop – and unless we are fully booked, we are able to convert almost all of them.

We are also planning to add another branch outside of Cebu. Our first outside-of-Cebu branch will probably be in the Mindanao area possibly in Cagayan de Oro, Iligan City or Davao City. Because of the huge number of upcoming bookings, we barely have the time to sit down and talk about branching out but this will surely be discussed once we can hire 2-3 more staffs to help us in the Balloon Decors.

Aside from the expansion of products and services, we are also planning to make our Balloon Decor Workshop more productive this year. This is our way of returning our God’s grace to the people by simply training them how to make balloon designs that sell – Remember the quote: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. Aside from sharing our skills, we also hope that we will have more time to share our blessings to the less fortunate and not just make it a quarterly event but we will try to make it at least once a month.

This will be an awesome 2015!
